Financial aid to women of Rs 1,500: Sudhir Sharma claims that Congress provided a fraudulent assurance

In a press statement released here today, Congress dissident and BJP candidate from Dharamsala, Sudhir Sharma, said that the state’s Congress administration was misleading women by forcing them to fill out the form for Rs. 1,500 twice. Women were forced to fill out paperwork before as well, but even after 14 months, they did not get the money.

According to Sudhir Sharma, ladies were misled into believing they would get Rs 1,500 from the state Congress. The administration first refused to support this plan, but as public pressure grew, Lahaul—the region in the state with the fewest women—was selected to carry it out. The plan was then abandoned.

As promised before the election, the government ought to have moved to put this plan into action in the first cabinet, but the Sukhu administration chose not to. The administration is now discussing filling out the form a second time, coinciding with the Lok Sabha elections across the nation and the byelections in Himachal. The new form has a lot of conditions. According to him, this will further lower the pool of suitable women.

According to Sudhir Sharma, the lack of data on qualified women held by the government is a disheartening situation. In any case, the Himachali ladies made no requests for financial assistance from the government. The ladies of Himachali are industrious. The goal of the BJP’s Sankalp Patra is to empower women in Himachal Pradesh and throughout the nation to stand on their own two feet.

As a result, all state and national self-help organizations’ goods will be branded by the central government. Asserting that Modi had promised it, Sudhir Sharma said, “The BJP government will brand the self-help groups of any sector, from education, health, and retail.” It would be Narendra Modi’s third time forming the government.
