Guntur: Retired IAS and IPS officials would examine poll anomalies as a team

Guntur: On Tuesday, during a session conducted at the Jana Chaitanaya Vedka office here, Dr. Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, the secretary of Citizens for Democracy, unveiled a short video on voter awareness. Vallamreddy Lakshmana Reddy, joint secretary of Citizens for Democracy, chaired the meeting.

During a meeting, Ramesh Kumar said that in order to detect any anomalies in the voting process, former IAS and IPS personnel would serve as vigilance observers.

Beginning on May 9, election observation teams will go around the state’s thirteen former districts. According to him, voters’ perspectives may be changed by seeing short videos.

He later presented awards to the short film makers Kandimalla Sambasiva Rao, Jasti Anuradha, JV Mohan Rao, S Jaya Rao, T Sambasiva Rao, and M Koteswara Rao.
