The goal of the BJP’s 2024 election program, according to Union Minister and Telangana State BJP President G. Kishan Reddy, is to transform the nation into Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Speaking to the media, he said that the party leader JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Chairman of the Manifesto Committee, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had all published the manifesto. According to him, the party has been formulating Sankalpa Patra for the welfare and progress of the nation since 1980. A number of development initiatives will be put into action in the next few years. It was planned to concentrate on young people, women, the poor, and farmers in five years as the party aimed to win the election a third time.

Reddy said that the manifesto commits to providing the poor free rations till 2029, installing piped LPG in every house, and extending the Rs 5 lakh Ayushman Bharat health coverage. The facility is open to elderly members of middle-class households. Additionally, it promises to increase the number of generic pharmacies in order to lower the cost of prescription drugs.

Four core dwellings for the impoverished have been built by the Center, and three crore more would be built during the third term, he added. It was determined to increase the number of IITs, IIMs, and higher education institutions in order to give education a boost. A 33% reserve for women in legislatures was settled upon. A plan of action will be put into place to transform post offices into social security hubs.

In order to spur the blue revolution, it was determined to increase funding for fisheries production and processing. A program will be introduced to provide gig workers, as well as auto and tax workers, with legal e-Shrama cards that will extend education, health, insurance, and pension benefits.

More funding will be given to the Ministry of Tribal Welfare to support research endeavors; the goal is to raise the nation’s GDP to the third rank in the world and establish it as a major center for innovation, legal insurance, semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and electronics manufacturing. The manifesto’s zero-tolerance stance against terrorism would guarantee stringent measures for the safety of the nation.

Reddy said that the party is ready to discuss progress under the UPA administration and the first ten years under Modi in a discussion with Mallikharjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, or any other Congress politician.
