In Karnataka, 23 seats are predicted for the NDA and 5 for the Congress by CVoter

In the Karnataka Lok Sabha elections, CVoter’s pre-poll survey indicated that the BJP would win 21 seats, the Congress would win five, and the coalition partner Janata Dal Secular (JDS) would win two.

State BJP leaders celebrated this forecast, while their Congress counterparts scoffed at it. This only indicates that the state is experiencing a Modi wave. Our strength in Karnataka has increased thanks to our collaboration with JDS. TNIE was informed by R Ashoka, the Legislative Assembly’s Leader of Opposition, that “our expectation is 28 of 28 Lok Sabha seats in the state.”

“We should be cautious about the pre-poll surveys because on many occasions, they tend to favor the agency that hires them,” said BK Hariprasad, a former MLC and general secretary of the AICC.

Saleem Ahmed, the top whip of the Legislative Council and working president of the KPCC, said, “How can we accept this survey? According to the CVoter survey conducted at the state’s Assembly elections in 2023, the BJP received between 83 and 95 seats. However, the BJP only won 66 seats.

110–112 seats were awarded to Congress in the same poll. However, Congress won 135 seats. Its forecast was wrong the last time. It will not work this time either. Twenty of the 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka will go to the Congress. Krishna Byre Gowda, the minister of revenue, declined to comment on the survey’s findings.
