Threatening phone call to Mumbai Police over RDX-Laden Tanker traveling to Goa with Pakistani Nationals

On Sunday, the Mumbai Police Control Room got a threat call stating that a tanker carrying two Pakistani nationals and RDX bomb was traveling from Mumbai to Goa. According to the municipal police, an inquiry is ongoing after the caller identified himself as “Pandey.”

The Mumbai police got the threat call over a week after receiving a second warning in as many days about a bomb put in the city, according to reports.

On Tuesday, an unnamed caller made threatening phone calls to the central government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Yogi Adityanath administration in Uttar Pradesh. The caller warned of a probable Mumbai assault like to the one on September 11, 2001, by mentioning the existence of ammunition and AK-47s at certain sites.

Officials had said that a case was filed against the unknown person at Worli Police Station under section 509 (2) of the IPC, adding that Mumbai Police is aggressively looking for the person who committed the cal.

On July 12, a similar call that was received turned out to be a scam.

Regarding a message received that threatened a terrorist attack in the city if Pakistani lady Seema Haider did not return to her homeland, a FIR was filed against unidentified individuals.

The caller was overheard saying in Urdu that “India will be destroyed” if Seema Haider did not return. The caller said that the Uttar Pradesh administration would be accountable for the assault if it occurred.

Seema Haider, a Pakistani lady, was detained in Greater Noida earlier this month for unlawfully entering India and remaining there without proper documentation. She allegedly traveled to India with her four kids to be with Sachin Meena, her boyfriend whom she had met via the PUBG gaming software.
