Israeli company and Deepak Fert team together to provide agricultural solutions

Pune: In order to promote high-performing specialized fertilizers that would increase crop quality and production, Mahadhan Agritech, a division of Deepak Fertilizers and Petrochemicals Corporation, has teamed up with Israel-based specialist plant nutrition company Haifa Group.

The collaboration will help farmers develop farming methods that improve crop nutrient absorption and usage efficiency while also addressing the issue of water shortages.

According to Sailesh Mehta, chairman and managing director of Deepak Fertilizers, “currently, over 60 lakh hectares of agricultural land are already supported by drip irrigation systems spread over most states.”
