Jagan is a Rayalaseema traitor: Nahidu

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy came under fire from TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu for utterly failing to provide the people of Andhra Pradesh with basic facilities.

Speaking at the Praja Galam gatherings in the districts of Anantapur and Kurnool, respectively, Naidu blasted the YSRC for failing to build roads in rural regions, provide employment for young people, and deliver water to agricultural fields. “I came here to reassure people that all facilities will be made available to the public by the NDA alliance,” he said.

Denouncing Jagan as a betrayer of Rayalaseema for his lack of contributions to the area, Naidu drew attention to the rise in prices of vital goods like cement, sand, and iron while Jagan was in power.

“In addition, the rising costs of gasoline and diesel are putting an additional Rs 1 lakh on the shoulders of the people of Andhra Pradesh annually,” he said.

The leader of the TDP reaffirmed that, should he win the next elections, he will raise the old age pension from the current Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000, with payments beginning in April.

Jagan’s use of his authority for selfish ends was another thing Naidu criticized. “Jagan is acting as if he wants all residents of the State to serve as his slaves. Authority is a chance bestowed upon one to assist the people. Accountability is necessary. Jagan has abused this authority out of ego,” he said.

Naidu attacked the CM for misleading the public under the guise of AP’s alcohol ban, claiming that Jagan had plundered the State and its citizens by raising the price of alcohol.

He said, “This election is crucial,” pointing to the startling Rs 13 lakh crore in state debt. The people’s and the State’s futures will be altered by it. We need the Center’s assistance. This is the rationale for the TDP, JSP, and BJP’s alliance.
