Kangana Ranaut says building the Holi-Uttrala road is her main priority

Bollywood actress and BJP candidate for Mandi Lok Sabha, Kangana Ranaut, visited isolated villages on the second day of her election journey to the Bharmour Assembly sector in the Chamba region.

Ranaut spoke at consecutive electoral gatherings in the villages of Kugti, Harsar, Poolan, Garola, and Holi. Legislator Janak Raj of Bharmour and Dalhousie MLA DS Thakur were with her.

Ranaut pledged to fulfill the long-standing demand for the Holi-Uttrala route during her speech at Holi. She underlined how urgent it is to solve the issue, which has had a long-lasting impact on people’s lives.

The Holi-Uttrala road, which was supposed to link Holi and Uttrala in Kangra’s Baijnath subdivision, was first suggested in 1972 and is now being built. People from Holi and Uttrala had to go almost 200 km in detour to see their family on either side of the Dhauladhar mountains since there is no road.

Building the Holi-Uttrala road and addressing the problems faced by the rural populace, particularly in the tribal districts of Bharmour, will be Ranaut’s primary priorities if elected.

She attacked the Congress party, charging them with misbehavior and corruption extending to the distribution of food subsidies.

Speaking during the event, Kangana emphasized the importance of placing more faith in the democratic process than in the antiquated feudal system, indicating a move in the direction of inclusive administration. Ranaut encouraged voters to support a strong leadership that placed a high priority on national unity, integrity, and development while expressing trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ability to govern.

A poignant note was struck when Kangana spoke to the assembly in her native Mandyali dialect and spoke warmly of her relationship with Bharmour. She also mentioned how she had asked a folk singer from the area to play traditional songs during her brother’s wedding. She proclaimed her affection for the area and its people and pledged to put in endless effort on their behalf should she be chosen to serve as their Lok Sabha representative.
