Laljit Singh Bhullar, the AAP Khadoor Sahib candidate, might face consequences for making “unsavory remarks.”

It has been discovered that Laljit Singh Bhullar, the minister of transportation and the Khadoor Sahib candidate for the Aam Aadmi Party, participated in the use of derogatory language based on caste and insulted the sexual preferences of one of his rivals in politics.

The Election Commission of India has received a report on Bhullar from the Tarn Taran Election Officer, which was given by the Punjab Chief Electoral Officer’s office. It has been discovered that the report includes video recordings of the speech that included these statements. Prior to this, the ECI had requested a report from the CEO of Punjab after two reports alleging that Bhullar had violated the code of conduct.

The report was given to the ECI by Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab, Sibin C., who confirmed this to The Tribune after receiving it from the Deputy Commissioner. The CEO said that the ECI will determine what action to take next, but he would not disclose the report’s conclusions.

The minister reportedly made fun of Ramgarhia and Suniyar community members on April 13 during his address in Patti during his election campaign, calling them “Ghuli gharh.” Following this, Shiromani Akali Dal and Ramgarhia Singh Sabha, Tarn Taran, both filed complaints against the minister with the ECI.

In addition, when the political opponent was incarcerated in a Rajasthani prison, the minister made lewd remarks about him that seemed to allude to his relationship with a Scheduled Caste member.

Subsequently, as the situation worsened at Khadoor Sahib, Bhullar again apologized to the community via a video message for offending their religious feelings. The ECI has also received this video.
