Leaders of the pink party begin to invoke emotion from Telangana

A recent election campaign gathering in Sultanpur, Sangareddy district, made clear that BRS officials, fighting for the party’s survival, had resumed using Telangana emotion.

This was a dramatic departure from the previous ten years, during which BRS officials seldom mentioned Telangana feeling.

Desapati Srinivas, the MLC, and Rasamai Balkishan, the former MLA, spoke about previous events when passionate speeches and music ruled the dais in Sultanpur, hoping to rekindle the Telangana movement’s fervor.

Some BRS members expressed their displeasure with these strategies, claiming that the emphasis is being moved away from the advancements and accomplishments of the pink party during the last ten years. The opponents, who wished to remain anonymous, said that “these leaders are indulging in nostalgic rhetoric, aimed at stirring emotions rather than informing voters, instead of highlighting the achievements made during their party’s rule.”

The MLC came under fire for criticizing Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy from the dais.

Additionally, this part said that focusing just on Telangana sentiment runs the danger of ignoring the causes of the most recent election failure and failing to take appropriate action. The party leadership’s lack of responsibility was bemoaned by lower-level activists. They stated it was almost difficult to see BRS head K Chandrasekhar Rao since he was still unreachable.
