Aamir Khan: My parents have never desired that I pursue a career in movies

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan recently shared a little-known detail about his rise to fame, illuminating his parents’ anxiety about his foray into the movie business.

In an interview with “The Great Indian Kapil Show,” Aamir Khan said, “I performed two plays in addition to backstage work for a year and a half. Both my uncle and parents were avid filmmakers. However, since the film business is so unstable, he was against the notion of his kids working in it.”

The renowned actor clarified his parents’ worries, highlighting their wish for a career free from uncertainty.”My parents never wanted me to go into the film industry,” he said. They want a more stable career with fewer ups and downs for their kids. Thus, they were vehemently opposed to it.”

In spite of criticism from his parents, Aamir Khan followed his dreams and became the biggest actor in Bollywood. Even if his parents didn’t always agree with his professional decisions, Aamir Khan’s ascent to fame is proof of his tenacity and diligence.
