Lok Sabha Election 2024 Phase 1: Voting date and time – All you need to know

India is prepared for the first round of the seven-phase Lok Sabha Elections that will take place in 2024. In the first round of the 18th LS Elections, voters from 102 seats spread across 21 states and union territories (UTs) will cast ballots. Eleven states and UTs will have limited coverage, while ten states and UTs will have full coverage. A number of significant states, including Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Uttarakhand, will have elections in Phase 1.

Phase I of the 2024 Lok Sabha Election Polling Date and Time
On April 19, the 18th Lok Sabha elections’ first round of voting will begin. On the timetable provided by the Election Commission, the second round of voting will take place on April 26, the third round on May 7, the fourth round on May 13, the fifth round on May 20, the sixth round on May 25, and the final round on June 1. On June 4, there will be a vote count.

On April 19, the voting will take place from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Voters who are already in the voting queue are given an additional hour as a buffer.

During this time, concurrent assembly elections are also planned in Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and Sikkim in addition to the Lok Sabha elections.
