Man, 30, shot and killed in Sonepat village due to animosity

A 30-year-old man was shot and killed on Thursday morning in Mohana hamlet on the Sonepat-Gohana route by three miscreants on motorcycles. The inquiry is being carried out by the police. Ravi from Mohana village has been recognized as dead.

The dead man’s uncle, Rohtas, filed a police complaint stating that he and his nephew, Ravi, had left Ravi’s kid at the village bus stop for school and were headed home.

According to him, three young people on a motorbike approached them from the Firni village side and opened fire. Rohtas claimed to know Tinku, one of the attackers. He fled onto the next street as they opened fire and was able to rescue himself, but Ravi was hit many times by the accused and instantly passed away. Deepak, the younger brother of Ravi, is incarcerated in relation to the death of Anand, the son of Balbir, a villager.

According to Rohtas, the accused were threatening to kill the whole family as retaliation for the death of Anand. He also claimed that the murder and attempted murder in the case included Navin, Sawan, Deepanshu, Anil, Aryan, Devender, Sahil, Krishan, Balbir, Kala, Tola, and Lavish of Mohana.

Thirteen individuals are the subject of a case filed under Sections 302, 307, 120B, 34 IPC, and 25/27-54-59 of the Arms Act. Inspector Arun Kumar, SHO, Mohana, said, “The accused are on the run and our teams are conducting raids to nab the accused.”
