News from Muzaffarnagar: An explosion at an unauthorized fireworks warehouse killed two children

On Monday, a large fire broke out at an illegal fireworks warehouse in the Muzaffarnagar region of Uttar Pradesh, resulting in the deaths of two youngsters. The explosion in the wee hours of the morning also caused the roof of an adjacent home to fall.

The dead were recognized as Paras son of Gajay and Dipankar son of Rishipal, who were employed at the warehouse. The two kids died from their wounds after suffering from severe burns.

After visiting the scene of the event, Circle Officer Ravi Shankar obtained information regarding the fireworks kept in the home from the residents. He said that after the loud bang, there was fear in the hamlet and that the residents called the police to report the occurrence.

The dead people’s remains were taken by the police and submitted for postmortem analysis. Along with looking into why the fireworks were unlawfully kept in the residence, they have also started an investigation to find out what caused the event.

Another instance on Sunday involved a guy in Lucknow who reportedly set fire to his home. According to the police, the event happened while the male, Raju, was intoxicated. Later on, the Talkatora police station took the guy into custody.
