Panipat: Two are accused of defrauding a father and son out of Rs 33 lakh

According to the police, Satyawan, a resident of Naultha village in the Panipat district, was tricked out of Rs 33.60 lakh by two people under the guise of sending his son to Germany and giving him a job there. The young guy was compelled by the agents to remain in the Belarusian forests, but he was able to get back to India.

According to Satyawan, Kamal, his neighbor, tricked him by claiming to know individuals who moved young people overseas and gave them work there. Kamal escorted Satyawan to a Satnam who assured him that Sachin would be sent to Russia. Subsequently, a Shyam Lal from Munak approached Satyawan, offering to assist in sending Sachin to Germany in exchange for an amount of Rs 8 lakh.

Sachin was then transferred to Belarus and had to make further payments there. But he never made it to Germany and was forced to spend months living in the Belarusian wilderness. Still, he was able to go back to India. He and Satyawan threatened to murder Sachin when Satnam and Shyam Lal refused to give them the money they wanted. A case has been filed under IPC provisions by the Israna police.
