Passengers are safe and the Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat Express train is about to depart after a battery box fire

Early this morning, a fire started in the battery box of the Delhi-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express train at the Kurwai Kethora stop in Madhya Pradesh. The event didn’t result in any injuries.

By 8 am, the fire crew had arrived at the scene and put out the flames. According to authorities, all passengers were unharmed since the fire was contained to the battery box.

The coach’s traffic and power block were sent for inspection. After the damaged batteries were removed, the train was then ready to go in the direction of Delhi.

A Vande Bharat Express train near Chennai was attacked with stones in another incident that happened last week. Authorities were notified of the damaged window panes by passengers who were boarding the train headed for Mysuru.

The train may have been attacked with stones between Basin Bridge and Chennai Central railway station, according to the police.

Stones were once again thrown at a Vande Bharat train in May of this year close to Chennai’s Arakkonam railway station.

The 28th rake of the Vande Bharat Express trains would be saffron, as Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw had said, adding that it was motivated by the Tricolor.
