Voting for the Lok Sabha will take place on the following dates: April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1. The elections will take place in seven parts.

Many first-time voters who are exercising their right to universal adult franchise will also be present at the election. This is the time to cast your vote if it has been since the previous Lok Sabha or state Assembly elections in your seat and you are of voting age (18 years). The requirement for qualifying is that you have to turn 18 before April 1, 2024.

Steps to verify your name on the voter list for the Lok Sabha Elections of 2024: – Visit the website: Using any internet-connected device, go to https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/.

– Select a Search Method: Choose from the following three options: Search by Mobile, Search by Details, or Search by EPIC or Elector’s Photo Identification Card.

-Provide Information: Enter pertinent information such as name, husband’s or father’s name, age, gender, and date of birth; state, district, assembly constituency, or EPIC number, depending on the method you have selected.

– Fill out the CAPTCHA: To confirm you are human and not a bot, enter the code shown in the CAPTCHA on the screen.

-Start Search: Press the search button to start the search.

-Review Results: If your name comes up in the list of results, it indicates that you have a voter registration.

-Verify Voter ID: Make sure the information corresponds to your voter ID card.

-Get ready to vote: To cast your ballot in the next Lok Sabha Elections of 2024, bring your voter ID card to the polling place.
