PM Narendra Modi’s Attack on the Opposition’s INDIA Alliance Is Called “India Mujahideen, East India Company”

I.N.D.I.A parties allegedly discussed a plan to lodge a no-confidence resolution against the government as the Parliamentary impasse over the opposition’s steadfast demand for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s thorough response on the violence in Manipur persists. To plan a strategy for the House floor, the BJP and I.N.D.I.A. conducted parliamentary talks on Tuesday morning.

Rajnath Singh, the defense minister, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the Parliament for the BJP’s parliamentary gathering. The leaders of the recently established Opposition coalition, I.N.D.I.A., also convened in Mallikarjun Kharge’s office, the leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha, to plan a strategy for the floor of the House.

To illustrate his argument that nothing changes just because a phrase appears in an organization’s nomenclature, he used the names of various organizations bearing the name “India,” according to sources quoted by PTI.

The opposition wants that Manipur be discussed.
The opposition urged that a debate on Manipur take place in the House. “The Prime Minister should issue a detailed statement on this matter and inform the country about the situation there,” the Congress said in a statement after the meeting.

Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress, reaffirmed that “the situation in the Northeast is fragile and the effects of the violence in Manipur appear to be spreading to other states as well.” This is detrimental to our vulnerable border states. “It’s time for PM Modi to put aside his vanity and lead the nation on Manipur. When will life return to normal in Manipur? Prime Minister Modi has to explain what his administration is doing to make things better.

Several Rajya Sabha MPs including, Raghav Chadha, K Keshava Rao, KR Suresh Reddy, Joginipalli Santosh Kumar, Badugula Lingaiah Yadav, Ranjeet Ranjan, Manoj Jha, Syed Naseer Hussain, Tiruchi Siva, Imran Pratapgadhi and Rajiv Shukla gave suspension of Business Notice in Rajya Sabha under rule 267 and demand discussion on ongoing violence in Manipur. Gaurav Gogoi, a Congressman, requested that the Manipur crisis be discussed in the Lok Sabha by filing an adjournment motion notice.

Both the Center and the opposition have called for a discussion on the Manipur issue, albeit they have different criteria in mind. The Opposition demanded that all business be suspended in accordance with Rule 267 and that the Prime Minister make a suo motu statement before a debate, while the government consented to a “short-term” discussion under Rule 176.
