Revanth Reddy claims that the BJP is prejudiced against south India

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said on Wednesday that the BJP was “banning” the development of the southern states and that individuals from north India had been appointed to all significant positions.

Revanth, a well-known AICC activist, made these remarks while supporting Rahul Gandhi in Wayanad, Kerala, where the Congress MP is running for office once again.

“People from north India were given important posts like President, Vice President, Union Home and Defence ministers,” Revanth said.

The head of the TPCC, who was critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressed confidence that his party will win the next elections and that Rahul Gandhi would take over as prime minister. He projected that Rahul Gandhi, who represents Wayanad in Parliament, will hold the position of prime minister for the next 20 years.

Modi was referred to by Revanth as a “champion of corruption”. He referenced the Supreme Court’s decision to invalidate the electoral bond program, calling it the worst fraud in history.

Revanth said that Modi was afraid to conduct elections using ballot papers, claiming that the public and opposition parties had lost trust in EVMs. He expressed worry over the use of electronic voting machines (EVMs) in elections while many other nations are still using paper ballots.

Revanth argued that Modi had no moral right to campaign for votes in the southern states, accusing the prime minister of not helping them at all. He insisted on knowing why Modi was concentrating primarily on north India, even during the elections, and reminded the prime minister that southern states are also a part of the nation.

In addition, he questioned why the BJP platform did not even mention southern states while promising Gujarat a fast train.

In addition, Revanth said that throughout the last ten years, Modi has caused irreversible harm to the nation.
