The PM says it’s time for India to become completely developed by 2047 in Bulandshahr, UP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed his commitment to elevating the national pride and prestige to the highest level after the pran-pratishthha of Lord Ram at his house, barely four days into the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya.

The Prime Minister said that it was now time to clear the path from “Dev to Desh” and “Ram to Rashtra” in order to achieve the goal of having the nation completely developed by 2047, alluding to the famous one-liner from his Ayodhya address, “Dev se Desh aur Ram se Rashtra.”

On Thursday, Modi announced and set the groundwork for development projects worth ~20,000 crore for western Uttar Pradesh while speaking at a public gathering in Bulandshahr.

“I had said at Ayodhya, in front of Ram Lalla, that now that the pran-partishthha job had been completed, it is time to elevate the nation’s prestige to even greater heights. The PM said, “It is now time to move forward with the endeavor of making nation developed by 2047,” adding that the job would only be achieved with the cooperation and combined effort of all citizens.

He also emphasized Uttar Pradesh’s critical role in achieving the 2047 goal. The PM stressed, “The development of developed India is not possible without the rapid growth of Uttar Pradesh.”

He said, without naming names, that even after decades of independence, much of the nation was still lacking in development, which was only found in a few areas. “The previous dispensations used to behave like rulers and divide the society to stick to power at all costs,” the PM said, adding that “even UP, with the largest population, was neglected.”

“After independence, people raised slogans of ‘Garibi Hatao,’ and some continued lying in the name of social justice,” the prime minister said. However, the impoverished saw that only a select few became wealthy, which helped their political cause. However, things are changing throughout the nation.

He continued, calling the provision of social programs to everybody without exception “true secularism.”
