the three-day visit of Kenya’s cabinet secretary for defense to India

On his first trip to India, Aden Bare Duale, the cabinet secretary for Kenya’s ministry of defense, arrived in New Delhi on Monday.

Additionally, this is Kenya’s highest-level, solely political visit since the current administration took office in September 2022.

Duale will meet with Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday during his three-day tour, according to a release from the local Defense Ministry.

The dignitary is anticipated to tour Bengaluru and Goa’s defense sectors and shipyards, according to the statement.

“The visit shows how much emphasis India places on its connections with African countries and how India and Kenya are working more closely together. It should provide new opportunities for the two nations’ defense collaboration, according to a defense ministry official.

The two nations concentrated on advancing their bilateral defense cooperation during the Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff’s three-day official visit to Kenya in June.

In conjunction with the Center’s 9th International Day of Yoga festivities, the Indian Naval Ship Sunayna made a port call in Mombasa as part of the “Ocean Ring of Yoga.”
