Two inmates of Sangrur Jail are killed in a fight

According to authorities, a fight between detainees on Friday at a Sangrur jail resulted in the deaths of two prisoners and the severe injuries of another.

The four people were hurt in the skirmishes, two of them died, and the police stated they are looking into the incident and attempting to figure out what caused it.

Two of the four patients (inmates) who were taken to the hospital from the district prison were brought dead, a doctor at the government hospital in Sangrur informed reporters.

There have been two referrals to Patiala for major injuries. According to the doctor, Mohd Sehwaz and Gagandeep Singh are hurt, while Harsh and Dharmender were brought dead.

He added that a sharp instrument had injured Singh and Sehwaz’s heads, limbs, ears, and backs.
