Two people detained for having stolen bicycles

After apprehending two people, a team from the Anti Vehicle Theft Cell was able to retrieve seven stolen motorbikes.

The suspects have been identified as Mustkeen of Yamunanagar district and Arjun, also known as Paras, according to police spokesperson Chamkaur Singh.

He claimed they were brought before a judge on Tuesday and taken into detention.

The Anti Vehicle Theft Cell’s Sukhwinder Rana received information that two people planned to go to Uttar Pradesh via Kalanaur village in the Yamunanagar district in order to sell a stolen motorbike there.

Rana assembled a squad and they began inspecting cars close to the Uttar Pradesh-Haryana border hamlet of Kalanaur.

After a while, the group saw two riders approaching on a motorbike. When the crew halted them, they had a stolen motorbike in their hands.

According to Rana, during questioning, they acknowledged stealing seven motorbikes.
