Utilize your time off for personal growth: Praveen Prakash
Principal Secretary of School Education Praveen Prakash said that as the academic year 2023–2024 draws to a close, friends and colleagues are giving educators insightful counsel and encouraging them to make the most of the impending vacation for introspection and personal growth.
He offered many approaches for their self-evaluation in a news release on Friday. There are forty-seven days between the end of one academic year on April 23 and the beginning of the next on June 12. Praveen suggests using this time for introspection and learning in order to become better teachers the next year.
“As a friend and coworker, I suggest you use this break to learn something that interests you,” he said.
His recommendation is to make use of the free materials written by famous author and educational specialist Doug Lemov (of “Teach Like a Champion”).
Praveen emphasized the need of reviewing fundamental tactics and reinvigorating oneself using the 49 distinct strategies delineated in Lemov’s materials.
