Yogi Adityanath: “We eliminated Chinese products from the Uttar Pradesh markets.”

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remarked that the state government eliminated Chinese goods from the state’s marketplaces as a result of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector in Uttar Pradesh becoming more resilient.

“What could demonstrate greater patriotism than this?” the chief minister said during a Wednesday MSME Department session held here. Once our homegrown products start to show some momentum in the market, we must support, encourage, and give them a space to grow. It brings us great satisfaction to see our items become more and more popular while the “enemy country’s” products lose ground.

He continued, saying that most of the merchandise on the market during holidays like Christmas, Vijayadashami, Diwali, and Eid are from Uttar Pradesh. Not only is our product excellent, but our craftsmen and business owners also believe that the future is bright for them.

The CM gave the MSME sector a massive loan of Rs 30,826 crore at this time. In addition, he presented checks to the developers of the authorized Pledge Park in Unnao and concurrently launched an online platform for industrial estate land allocation. Additionally, toolkits under the ODOP and Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana initiatives were handed by CM Yogi.

During his speech, the prime minister said that the MSME department must prioritize meeting consumer demand by conducting a thorough market mapping process and improving product packaging guidelines. By taking these actions, he showed his belief that the state’s domestically produced goods will soon become well-known throughout the country.

In addition, he called for MSME owners to register as soon as possible in order to expedite the development of training courses for those operating micro, small, and medium-sized businesses.

Before the fiscal year 2023–2024 ended, the chief minister said that the MSME department had carried out a number of credit distribution schemes. He was pleased that the amount given out this year had quadrupled over last year and grown tenfold over the preceding seven years.

He emphasized that this development not only represents Uttar Pradesh’s economic prosperity but also creates job chances for young people.

Up to ten different state districts are linked to Pledge Park. Today, the check for the state’s eleventh promise park, which is being constructed in Unnao, was distributed, he said.

Over the previous seven years, he praised the MSME Department’s contribution in advancing micro, small, and medium-sized businesses in the state. He said, “It has made significant strides towards realising Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a self-reliant India through innovative initiatives and experimentation.”

This is the new Uttar Pradesh of the New India, said the chief minister. “We have used our expertise to change the outdated viewpoint. Every industry in ours is reacting to everyone these days. Even though UP was already a state with “unlimited potential,” certain individuals had turned it into BIMARU. We have advanced on the youth and entrepreneur development road by combining it with the nation-building mission.

He continued, saying, “We are seeing the outcome of this now. The only state in the nation where young business owners may get an interest-free loan of five lakh rupees is Uttar Pradesh.

40 lakh of the 96 lakh MSME entities in the state, according to him, are registered. The objective is to register every 96 lakhs as quickly as feasible.

The chief minister emphasized that the state’s considerable land bank, security guarantees, and robust MSME foundation all contribute to the favorable conditions that allow big companies to establish themselves. The extraordinary investment ideas totaling Rs 40 lakh crore that Uttar Pradesh got at the UP Global Investors Summit serve as an example of this favorable environment.

Additionally, he noted, investments totaling Rs 10 lakh crore have successfully materialized in Uttar Pradesh thanks to a recent groundbreaking ceremony. The chief minister also praised bankers at the state and local levels for their contributions to the growth of the state.

The chief minister said that, given the present rate of acceleration in Uttar Pradesh, reaching a $1 trillion GDP over the next five years would be inevitable. Noting a change in investment patterns from historically concentrated regions like the NCR, Meerut, and Hapur to smaller districts like Unnao and Hardoi, he underlined the need to develop the manufacturing sector. He noted that this change highlights the potential that was previously there but was not fully used.
