Australia wins the toss and elects to bowl first against India in the second One-Day International at Indore

India and Australia will play each other again in Indore at the Holkar Cricket Stadium for the second Twenty20 International.

After winning the toss, Australian team captain Steve Smith decided to bowl first. The Indian team will continue to be led by KL Rahul.

It looks warm and they want to chase a total, Smith remarked after winning the toss. Later, if there is dew, it will aid in our pursuit. We made a few adjustments since we wanted to attempt a new pairing.

KL Following the toss, Rahul stated, “Considering the size of the pitch, we would have also bowled first. It seems to be a nice wicket and will be a good challenge to score runs. We simply made one adjustment from the previous game. Prasidh enters after Jasprit has had some rest. It’s beneficial for all of our hitters to spend time in the middle.

On the Indian side, Prasidh Krishna will take the place of Jasprit Bumrah.

Spencer Johnson, a left-arm fast bowler, has played his first ODI.

In an effort to acquire some playing experience in before the World Cup, Mitchell Starc is yet to rejoin the Australian team.

Pat Cummins’ return to the lineup from the first ODI bench is another unexpected development.

Shubman Gill and Ruturaj Gaikwad managed to put together a combination that was worth about 150 runs, and they both want to keep building momentum.

Ruturaj Gaikwad has also dazzled with a score of about 70, which is significant since the opening batter is also the captain of India’s team traveling to the Asian Games.

David Warner, Matthew Short, Steven Smith (captain), Marnus Labuschagne, Josh Inglis, Alex Carey (wicket), Cameron Green, Sean Abbott, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood, and Spencer Johnson make up Australia’s starting lineup.
