Michael Slater, a former Australian celebrity, breaks down after being denied bail

Michael Slater, a former Test cricket player, allegedly broke down in front of an Australian judge on Tuesday after being denied bail on over a dozen allegations, some of which included stalking.

Local media said that the 54-year-old fell to the ground and needed assistance from court personnel to get back up after a Queensland judge denied his request for bail.

In addition to ordinary assault and criminal stalking, the television analyst and former batsman is accused of domestic violence offenses. Police have accused Slater of making aggressive phone calls and sending unsolicited texts throughout the previous six months. He has another court date scheduled at the end of May.
