Mumbai RSB badminton team defeats the city team

The Regional Sports Board (RSB) Mumbai women’s badminton team beat RSB Chandigarh 2-1 to go to the semifinals of the UT Sports Department-hosted All India Civil Services Badminton Tournament.

The Central Secretariat squad beat RSB Kanpur 2-0, while RSB Hyderabad defeated Bihar 2-0 as well. Additionally, RSB Patna advanced after beating RSB Bhubaneswar 2-0.

RSB Kanpur beat RSB Dehradun 2-0 and the Central Secretariat defeated RSB Indore 2-1 in the pre-quarterfinals. RSB Hyderabad beat Chhattisgarh 2-1, while Bihar Secretariat defeated Gujarat Secretariat 2-0. By equal scores of 2-0 apiece, RSB Chandigarh conquered Karnataka and RSB Bhubaneswar outperformed Kerala. In the previous two games, RSB Patna beat RSB Chennai 2-1 and RSB Mumbai defeated RSB Ahmadabad 2-1.

RSB Indore defeated RSB Chandigarh 3-0 in the men’s division to guarantee their spot in the semifinals. While RSB Kolkata beat RSB Bengaluru by the same score of 3-0 and RSB Shimla overcame RSB Hyderabad, RSB Mumbai overcame RSB Chennai after putting up a fierce fight. RSB Chennai beat RSB Imphal, RSB Mumbai blanked Gujarat, RSB Hyderabad defeated RSB Dehradun 3-0, and RSB Bengaluru defeated RSB Jaipur by the same one-sided score of 3-0 in the pre-quarterfinals. RSB Chandigarh also triumphed against Chhattisgarh.

In the previous two games, RSB Shimla beat RSB Ahmadabad 3-1 and RSB Kolkata defeated RSB Chhattisgarh 3-1.
