Schedules for the 2023–24 Season are released by the Premier League

The 2023–24 Premier League schedule was released on Thursday, with the first match of the campaign taking place on August 11 against newly promoted Burnley and defending champion Manchester City.

The manager of Burnley, Vincent Kompany, played for Manchester City from 2008 to 2019 and guided his squad to four Premier League championships.

The former Belgian international won four League Cups, two FA Cups, and two Community Shields while playing for Manchester United.

The 2022–23 Premier League runners-up, Arsenal, will open their campaign against Nottingham Forest on August 12 due to the Saturday’s six games.

While newcomers Luton go to the Amex Stadium to face Brighton, who had a stellar campaign last time around and gained a berth in the UEFA Europa League as they finished sixth in the standings, Bournemouth host West Ham for their first match.

Everton, who avoided the relegation zone on the last day of the regular season, will open their campaign against opponents like Fulham, who are visiting. While on their first trip back to the Premier League, Crystal Palace will visit Sheffield United.

Ason Villa will visit Newcastle United, which managed to secure a spot in the prestigious UEFA Champions League. The Saudi-owned squad hopes to maintain its recent winning performances, which won them a fourth-place finish.

On Sunday, June 15, Brentford will face Tottenham Hotspurs before the most intriguing encounter of the first matchday, Chelsea hosting Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United will welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford, to conclude the first round of games as they look forward to even more success in the Dutchman’s second season in command of the most successful English team in league history.

The new Nike Flight Premier League ball that will be used in the next season was also unveiled by the PL.
