Although Narine has announced his retirement, he says he would still cheer for the lads in the next World Cup, which will be held in the USA and the West Indies.

“Although I never want to let anybody down, I’ve come to terms with that choice, and I’ll be rooting for the boys who play for the West Indies in June. Guys who deserve to prove to our amazing supporters that they are deserving of winning another championship after putting in a lot of effort over the previous several months,” Narine said in her statement.
