I began my work on the assembly line at Anand Mahindra before moving on to Elon Musk

In response to Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra said on Friday that he began his professional career on an auto plant’s shop floor.

The owner of X said that although there are a lot of films depicting a lone inventor having a “eureka” moment in their garage, “almost none about manufacturing, so it’s underappreciated by the public.”

Prototypes are easy compared to the excruciating hardship of achieving high-volume, positive-margin manufacturing, the tech mogul said.

In response, Mahindra expressed his complete agreement.

“I began working at an auto company on the shop floor. And I’ve never ceased to be amazed by the ceaseless work and never-ending problem-solving that go into producing goods in large quantities,” he wrote.

“Movies about the heroes of manufacturing are certainly worthy.” especially considering that the videos we produce showing the production of our automobiles have a high popularity on YouTube. Therefore, there is undoubtedly a market for more, Mahindra continued.

“Manufacturing is under-represented in pop culture and there are hundreds of tales to tell,” a follower said.

The Mahindra Group, which was established in 1945, is among the biggest businesses, employing 260,000 people in more than 100 nations. It is the biggest tractor firm in the world by volume and has a leading position in India’s financial services, utility vehicles, information technology, and agricultural equipment markets.
