72 Check-In Counters at Chikankari Installations: See Lucknow’s Gorgeous T3 for Rs 2,400 Crore

The Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) in Lucknow has moved its domestic operations from Terminal 2 to the recently constructed Terminal 3 (T3), which is hailed as an ultramodern terminal with cutting-edge passenger amenities and services.

According to Rupesh Kumar, the Lucknow Airport spokesperson, “the decision to move operations to Terminal 3 is in line with the airport’s plan to shift all domestic and international flights to the newly built, integrated terminal, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier this month.”

Terminal 2 is now the hub for domestic flight operations for Air India, Indigo Airlines, Air India Express, Vistara, Fly Big, Air Asia India, and Star Air. However, Terminal 3 is currently the new location for all domestic activities. The procedures started on Sunday, April 21 at 0:00.

The recently constructed Terminal 3 of the CCSIA is already a topic of conversation for travelers. You are tempted to stay at the terminal longer by the elegantly furnished interiors. According to a traveler, “The colorful interiors give it a fresh and vibrant feeling, adding to the travel experience.”

SPECIAL TERMINAL 3
The Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport’s Terminal 3 marks a major advancement in both infrastructure and traveler experience.

It was constructed for Rs 2,400 crore and spans 1,17,000 square meters. It can accommodate 80 lakh people a year. In addition to being a center for travel, the port creates 13,000 direct and indirect jobs.

With installations like Basant Bahaar, Suvarna Ghats, and Chikankari, it provides a distinctive audio-visual experience highlighting Uttar Pradesh’s rich artistic and architectural heritage. According to a Lucknow Airport spokesman, “sustainable features like the twisted green wall and fish-shaped skylight add eco-friendliness.”

T3 will guarantee effective operations with its 72 check-in stations (including self-baggage drop), 62 immigration counters, and contemporary amenities including seven passenger boarding bridges and 13 boarding gates.

550 automobiles may park in the cityside area, which makes passenger transfers easier.

T3 will operate as a crucial gateway, combining practicality and style, connecting 29 domestic and eight foreign destinations with more than 110 domestic and 16 international flights every day.
