According to Adityanath, the SP Dispensation built a museum for Aurangzeb, and we are building one for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, said on Tuesday that when the Samajwadi Party was in power, a museum honoring the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb was erected in Agra, and that his administration is now constructing a museum honoring Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the same area.

He said that the Narendra Modi administration chose Shivaji Maharaj’s insignia for the Indian Navy because an Indian cannot have ties to Mughal invaders. The statements were delivered by the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh during a celebration marking the 350th anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s coronation.

In honor of Aurangzeb, a Mughal Museum was built in Agra during the previous (Samajwadi Party) administration. By erecting a massive museum in his honor in the same area, our administration is keeping Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s memory alive, Adityanath remarked.

The importance of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to Uttar Pradesh cannot be overstated. Ganga Bhatt from Kashi performed his inauguration as king as the priest. Additionally, the Kanpur-born poet Bhushan wrote poetry glorifying Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s bravery, he said.
