At the Gorakhnath Temple, CM Adityanath performs the Rudrabhishek and Hawan

On the second Monday of the holy Sawan month, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted “rudrabhishek” and “havan” at the Gorakhnath temple in this city, according to authorities.

They said that on the occasion of Somawati Amawasya, Adityanath, who is also the Peethadhishwer of Goraksha Peeth, paid homage to Lord Shiva at the Shaktipeeth, which is situated on the first floor of his apartment inside the temple.

The chief minister conducted ‘rudrabhishek’ with milk and juice and presented flowers and leaves to the idol.
The ‘rudrabhishek anushthan’ was finished by Acharya Ramanuj Tripathi, the mutt’s chief priest, and other priests while mantras were chanted.

After the rudrabhishek, Adityanath also performed a “hawan” and a “aarti.”

On the very first day of Sawan month, he had done a similar pooja.
