Four kids die in a pond near Azamgarh while having a bath

In a pond in a hamlet in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, four youngsters perished, police authorities said on Thursday.
They also said that the victims went to the pond to have a bath.

The terrible event happened on Wednesday night in the district’s Bardan area’s Kushalgaon hamlet.

According to the authorities, several people fished out the remains of the youngsters, who were between the ages of seven and 10.

While swimming in Ballia, two individuals perished in a river.
Two people in Ballia died in a similar tragedy that occurred two days earlier. They were swimming on Tuesday when they drowned in the Tonnes River in a Ballia village.

The fatalities, named Danish (age 22) and his companion Golu, also known as Waris (age 23),  drowned in Thamhanpura village after falling into deep water during a bath, according to Additional Superintendent of Police Durga Prasad Tiwari.

Witnesses said that one of the victims drowned as they went into the deep water to snap a photo. While attempting to rescue him, his pal drowned.
