Four people die in Greater Noida when a UPSRTC bus driver faints and strikes two motorcycles

In the Dankaur neighborhood of Greater Noida, four persons riding two motorbikes were struck by an Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus on Wednesday afternoon, according to police. According to reports, the bus driver passed out and collided with the two motorcycles approaching from the other side, causing the collision. There were no injuries to any of the twenty passengers aboard the bus.

The dead have been named as Karan, 22, a resident of Sikandrabad; Sunil, 30, a resident of Dhamni Village in Bulandshahr; Madan, 26, of Hathras; and Kamlesh, 35, of Mirzapur, according to Dankaur Station house officer Sanjay Kumar Singh.

He said, “The bus driver Devendra had some kind of attack and lost consciousness, which caused him to lose control of the vehicle as the vehicle approached the main road from the Mandi Shyam Nagar Bridge in Dankaur.

Then, from the other side, the bus crashed into two motorcycles. Riding one of the motorcycles, Karan and Sunil instantly passed away.

After calling the emergency hotline at 112, a Dankaur police station team was sent to the scene. The SHO said that when the other two wounded males, Madan and Kamlesh, were taken to a local hospital, Kamlesh was sent to another facility where he passed away later, and Madan passed away while receiving treatment there.

The bus came to a halt after it struck the motorcyclists. The driver collapsed to the side of his seat closest to the window. The reason for the driver’s unconsciousness and the nature of the assault are being investigated as part of the monitoring of his health. For now, he is not in danger.

The police department said that they are now looking into the matter and that, upon receiving a formal complaint from the deceased’s family, they will file a case under the Indian Penal Code for death by carelessness as well as other pertinent provisions. We are waiting for further details.
