It Is Vital That Specialist Doctors Are Available in Hospitals: UP CM

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, instructed authorities on Wednesday to take into consideration raising the retirement age of government physicians in order to guarantee the availability of doctors in all state-run healthcare institutions.

“All state government hospitals and health centers should have qualified and competent physicians on staff. No position should be left unfilled anywhere, the chief minister reportedly added.

He said that it is crucial that hospitals have access to specialists in medicine. At a meeting here, Adityanath said, “Specialist physicians are now accessible via direct recruitment and specific training of general doctors, but alternative possibilities should also be studied in the future.

According to the statement, he requested that authorities take into account raising the retirement age for government physicians. The state administration is resolved to make the necessary measures, according to the chief minister, so that high-quality medical services are readily accessible in all aspirational districts and development blocks.

According to him, several organizations have shown their desire to make investments to provide high-quality healthcare in these regions. He said that the health department should create a strategy as soon as feasible to encourage private investment in the construction of hospitals in desirable neighborhoods and development blocks.

He said that while creating the policy, the requirements of the private sector should be taken into consideration. He said that unusual leave might be granted for this time to enable government physicians to continue their study even while they are on probation. Adityanath said that a required suggestion should be made in this respect.
