Noida: Please refer to the schedule as lessons are now held from nursery to eight

The Gautam Buddh Nagar District Magistrate has modified the school’s class schedule from nursery to eight due to the chilly weather. Due to the chilly weather, all schools in Noida and Greater Noida will begin at 10 am on January 18 and forward, per an official directive. This schedule would be in place until the district administration issued further directives. Rahul Panwar, the Basic Education Officer for Gautam Buddh Nagar, issued an order in this respect.

”In line with the directives granted by the District Magistrate, Gautam Buddh Nagar, in view of the thick fog and severe cold, lessons in all schools from nursery to 8 would be held from 10 am on January 18 till further orders,” said the official notification. The officer demanded that the directive be strictly followed.

Prior to this, due to the very cold weather in the area, classes for students in nursery through eighth grade were canceled until January 16. While sessions for pupils in grades 9 through 12 continued, District Inspector of Schools Dharmveer Singh issued a separate order last week changing the school’s hours to 10 am to 3 pm. As per the prior ruling, classes 9 through 12 will remain in session until January 20. In the winter, government schools in Noida typically operate from 9 am to 3 pm.
