Nothing is damaged in the BSNL building fire
Prayagraj: A significant fire that started on the first and third floors of the BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) building caused panic to engulf Civil Lines and the surrounding neighborhoods for two hours. It took around two hours for four fire tenders to put out the fire.
“The fire first broke out at a transformer, kept aside the building of BSNL, and the fire spread to the first and third floors before one could take measures to control it,” Chief Fire Officer (Prayagraj) PK Pandey informed TOI.
Firefighters hurried to put out the fire with enough firefighters. The fire did not injure anyone. “The cables, equipment, and other articles on the first and third floors of the building were damaged by fire,” the CFO said. When the fire was fully contained, firefighters searched the BSNL building, which was entirely covered with smoke.
