Student from a college was detained for attempting to offend a young girl’s modesty in Sant Kabir Nagar, UP
According to authorities, a 19-year-old intermediate college student in this area of Uttar Pradesh was detained after reportedly attempting to offend a little girl’s modesty.
Wednesday saw the arrest of Sahil, a student at a Khalilabad intermediate college that is administered by the government.
On September 16, as the Class 9 student was playing kabbadi on campus, the accused is accused of making lewd gestures at her, according to Circle Officer Dipanshi Rathore.
According to Rathore, the child told her family about the event, and a report was made on Wednesday.
In accordance with the POCSO Act and the Indian Penal Code, a FIR was filed against Sahil. He was taken into custody and imprisoned. The officer said that an investigation was under progress.
