Teen Steals Motorcycle in Lucknow to Purchase Gift for Friend

In Lucknow, a 17-year-old teenager who worked at a roadside restaurant was detained for stealing a bike so he could give his pal an expensive birthday present. The young criminal wanted to give his buddy a pricey present to impress him, but he lacked the funds to do so.

On October 1, he made the decision to take something to get some fast cash and saw the unsecured motorbike parked outside a home. To avoid producing a sound that may draw attention, he rolled the duplicate key down a distance to unlock the lock.

Then, before going in search of a potential client, he drove the bike away and placed it in a secure location.

Ram Sahare Vishwakarma, the owner of the motorbike, noticed that it was gone and looked through the surveillance tape to identify the child who had taken it.

He reported it to the police, who opened an inquiry and, with the aid of the neighborhood, discovered the young person.

According to SHO Vikram Singh, the culprit was detained as a result of the surveillance video. He admitted to the act and said that he had taken the bike to pay for an expensive birthday present for his closest buddy.

On Tuesday, the companion of the accused, who is also facing a theft charge, turned 18. The accused said that his companion was like a “teacher figure” to him and had taught him all he knew about stealing. On Wednesday, the accused will be presented in court.
