Truck strikes roadside restaurant in Hapur, UP, leaving 4 dead and 3 injured

In this area of Uttar Pradesh, authorities reported on Thursday that a canter truck had struck a roadside dhaba, resulting in four fatalities and three injuries.

According to Station House Officer (SHO) Devendra Singh Bisht, the accident happened in the vicinity of the Dhaulana police station on Wednesday night when the truck driver lost control of the vehicle and drove into the dhaba, which is close to the Zubeda marriage house on the Dhaulana-Mussoorie route.

The event resulted in seven persons being hurt. Four of them were later pronounced dead after being taken there by police.

Arun (28) and Jitendra (18) were two of the dead, according to identification.

According to the SHO, the three wounded people’s conditions are still severe.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhishek Verma, ASP Rajkumar, and Circle Officer Varun Mishra all hurried to the scene as soon as they heard about the occurrence.

Four persons were killed in the accident, according to Mishra, and two of them were recognized. At the time of the accident, the victims may have gone to the dhaba to eat.

According to Mishra, the canter truck’s driver has been arrested.
