UP Board 10th Result 2024: UPMSP High School Exam Passing Percentage Over the Previous Five Years

Today, April 20, is the day when the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will announce the results of the Class 10 board examinations 2024. At 2:00 PM, it will be made public. Students may see their results on the official UP Board website, upmsp.edu.in, after they are released.

The UPMSP administered these tests in two shifts a day, from February 22 to March 9, at 8,265 testing locations around the state. There were two shifts: the first shift from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM and the second shift from 2 PM to 5:15 PM.

While we wait for the results to be announced, let’s have a look at the pass rates for the Class 10 UP Board examinations during the previous five years.

The passing rate for the UP board’s Class 10th test in 2023 was 89.78 percent. Boys made up the majority of the student body, scoring 86.64 percent, while females did better, scoring 93.34 percent.

In reference to 2022, 88.18% of candidates passed the 10th board test. Of these, 91.69 percent of the girls and 85.25 percent of the males were deemed eligible.

Furthermore, in 2021, a novel assessment technique for pupils in Class 10 was brought about by the COVID-19 epidemic and the consequent shutdown of educational facilities. Their results in Class 9 and their grades on the pre-board exams combined to determine their final scores. With the use of this 50/50 assessment approach, the pass rate skyrocketed to 99.53 percent.

With pupils scoring over 16 percent more than in 2020 (83.31 percent), the pass rate in 2021 was much higher than in the year before.

The pass rate for the year 2019 was 80.07 percent.

The steps to download the 2024 Up Board 10th Results.
Step 1: Go to upmsp.edu.in or upresults.nic.in to access the official UP Board website.

Step 2: Navigate to the webpage and choose the link labeled “UP Board UP Board High School (Class X) Examination.”

Step 3: Enter your UP Board roll number in the allotted field and press the submit button.

Step 4: After that, the screen will display the UP Board Class 10th Result 2024.

Step 5: Print the results for future reference and save a duplicate of the same.

This year, 15.71 lakh male and 13.76 lakh female students registered for the Class 10 board examinations, totaling about 29.47 lakh. The UP Board Secretary, Dibyakant Shukla, said that the answer sheet assessment process started on March 16 and would end on March 31. Furthermore, 94,802 examiners in total have been assigned to assess 1.76 crore high school test response sheets at 131 assessment centers.
