UP CM, Ayodhya Officials Talk to PM About “Museum Of Temples”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given a presentation on a planned museum in Ayodhya that would document the history of well-known temples from all around the nation, an official said on Wednesday.

At the high-level meeting with the prime minister on Tuesday in Delhi, the development of the museum in the temple city was the main topic of conversation. District Magistrate Nitish Kumar informed PTI that Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, and other Ayodhya officials were also there.

According to Kumar, who was also present at the meeting, “the prime minister liked the idea of the temple museum very much and it was discussed in detail.”

He stated certain parcels of land near the Saryu river have been chosen for the project and that one would soon be chosen for the museum’s development.

According to a presentation given previously to the chief minister, the museum would be constructed on a 10-acre site.

The official said, “We are putting together a thorough blueprint for this project where devotees can experience the glorious Hindu temples in various parts of India.”

He said that educating the next generation about Hindu dharma is the essential goal. The museum will have an exhibition on the history of well-known temples in the nation, Kumar said.

The unique features and architectural designs of Indian temples will be shown in the museum’s exhibition halls, and a light-and-sound show with an expert-prepared running commentary will also be organized, he added.

He stated that the facility will also contain a café, pond, garden, and underground parking.
