Vote in the Lok Sabha elections to get discounts on eating, photoshoots, and free health checks in Noida and Ghaziabad

NOIDA/GHAZIABAD: Numerous organizations in Noida and Ghaziabad have provided incentives to those who exercise their right to vote in an effort to increase voter participation.

Nearly 50 eateries in Noida will give customers who display their tattooed fingers within 24 hours of casting their ballots a 20% discount, according to the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI).

Those who have cast their votes are eligible for a free health examination at Felix Hospital. Additionally, a Greater Noida private studio has declared that everyone who presents their tattooed fingers as identification of their vote-taking status will get a complimentary picture session.

Discounts will be given to voters on April 26 at the Indirapuram Habitat Center’s Berco’s and Pind Balluchi locations in Ghaziabad.

By encouraging individuals to actively engage in the political process, these projects hope to raise the region’s overall voting rate. Election Commission records show that voter participation in the two seats has continually been below the national average, which was 66% in 2014 and 67.4% in the 2019 Lok Sabha election.

Ghaziabad’s polling percentage in 2019 was 55.9%, which is little less than the 56.9% recorded in 2014. In the Gautam Budh Nagar constituency, voting percentages were 60.5% in 2019 and 60.3% in 2014.

Over 50 restaurants, including well-known eateries Imperfecto and Xero Courtyard at Gardens Galleria, Desi Vibes, Kaffiiaa, Noida Social, and F Bar in Noida and Greater Noida, will be offering discounts on April 26 and 27, according to Varun Khera, president of the NRAI Noida branch.

“We are urging our members to provide a unique discount program to visitors who have completed their voting. Dine-in patrons who have cast their ballots and are residents according to their voter ID will get a 20% discount, the speaker said.

Imperfecto’s proprietors, Sharad and Naresh Madan, said that all clients had to do to get the discount was to present their tattooed fingers. “Everyone needs to have an inked finger if there are four customers,” Naresh said.
There will be discounts at a few eateries in Ghaziabad. The owners of Pind Balluchi and Berco’s at Indirapuram Habitat Centre, Vikas Singh, claimed that the stores would provide comparable savings. “The goal is to uplift democracy and inspire voters,” he said.

In addition, Felix Hospital in Sector 137 in Noida is providing free full-body examinations to voters as part of its “Vote for Healthy India” campaign. “People may visit the hospital and get a free complete body checkup valued at Rs 6,500 by displaying the voting ink mark on their fingers. The deal is valid from April 26 to April 30, according to Dr. D K Gupta, chairman and CEO.

On April 26, a private studio in Jagat Farm, Greater Noida, will provide complimentary picture sessions to first-time voters who have the permanent ink on their fingers. The proprietor of the studio, Ashish Sharma, expressed his excitement about capturing this “special moment for the new voters.”
