Renowned Grammy and Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman has praised Bharat Goel, a composer recognized for his distinctive song interpretations, for his reworking of the Tamasha movie’s Agar Tum Saath Ho. Arijit Singh’s brief voice clip from a media event was used by Bharat to offer a new twist to the original song, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. The pianist breathed fresh life into the soulful ballad by deftly combining flute, piano, and Arijit’s raw voice. Inspired by the song, Rahman posted it on his Instagram, giving Bharat’s composition a significant boost. With over 1.5 million views, the film swiftly rose to the top of the most-viewed reels on social media.

The song’s reworked version impressed industry figures including Rochak Kohli, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Harshdeep Kaur in addition to drawing accolades from social media fans and music legend AR Rahman. In the video, Arijit is seen mid-interview when a reporter asks him to perform any song. Unexpectedly, he selected the song from the Ranbir and Deepika film, to which Bharat then put his own special touch. “Agar tum saath ho is an iconic song composed by AR Rahman from the movie Tamasha,” the artist remarked while sharing the picture.
