For eleven years, this 48-year-old man from Estonia has been dating his 104-year-old stepmother

The adage “love is blind” is one that we have heard often. One such love tale has been receiving attention online lately. 48-year-old Mart Soeson was born in Estonia, Europe. He fell in love with Elfriede Riit, an Australian woman who is 104 years old and also happens to be his stepmother. Reports state that Mart Soeson works as a lawyer. He revealed in a recent interview with the media that he has been seeing the elderly lady since 2013, the year his grandpa passed away.

Up until 2022, they shared a house. Riit was then compelled to enter a nursing facility. Riit, who was also born in Estonia, reportedly told the UK Daily Mail. She was the grandson of Mart Soeson’s second wife. Mart said that their 55-year age difference is inconsequential and that they ought to be let go of their “exclusive, committed long-term” relationship.

Mart went on to say that at first, they were generally bonded, but with time, their link gradually became stronger. It eventually turned into a really loving and profound relationship. They both want to savor their moments of love, and there is no turning back now. As a result of their connection, sources state that Mart want to become a permanent resident of Australia; however, his visa application has been denied.

Moreover, he did not get an official explanation for the visa application’s denial. The Department of Home Affairs, however, is said to have had doubts about the veracity of his connection with the lady.

In order to have his case heard, Marthas has now brought it to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, which he appeared at on Wednesday along with three supporters and Elfriede Riit.

However, Soeson also spoke about his early 1996 first contact with Ms. Riit. It was an amazing occasion when he traveled to Australia for the first time to learn advanced English. Ms. Riit invited Mart to stay at her Sydney home as she was aware that he was the grandson of her late husband.

He went on to say that nothing occurred suddenly and that it was not love at first sight. However, they got closer and became friends after their first encounter. After finishing his degree, Mart went back to Estonia, although he took vacations back to Australia in 2000 and 2007 to see Ms. Riit. Over these two journeys, their relationship became closer.
