The driver was unable to escape the flaming car because it was attached to him. A portion of the caption says, “The group that got him out reported they were being smacked in the face by the searing flames while the vehicle door was being blocked by the guard rail.

The motorist was recognized by the Minnesota State Patrol as Samuel Orbovich, 71. He was in an automobile accident and his car caught fire.

There is nothing more horrifying, in my opinion. This kind of accident terrifies me. Is there a glass-breaker gadget in every car? To ensure that it is always within reach in the event of an emergency, I store mine within the console. Another person said, “These people are heroes.”

“Humanity is still hopeful, after all. Heroes,” a third person said.

A fourth said, “Wow, these people are true heroes.”

A fifth said, “There are still good souls out there.”

The Minnesota State Patrol reports that there were no significant injuries to the driver. He was, nonetheless, sent to the closest hospital for further assessment.

In what way did the police respond to the event?
“The State Patrol is appreciative that the driver is okay because of the selfless deeds of the people who came to provide assistance. We always encourage drivers to be alert because these kinds of things may happen anywhere and at any moment,” Minnesota State Patrol Lieutenant Jill Frankfurth told People in a statement.

“The actions of those who pulled this motorist from the burning car demonstrate the importance and willingness of people throughout Minnesota to look out for each other,” said the official. The officer went on, “We are grateful that nobody was hurt.”
