Across the nation, traditional dance and music are often connected to festivities and festivals. Festivities and dance, particularly in Bengali culture, go hand in hand and complement each other’s beauty and vitality. Bengali festivals revolve on dance, which enhances every event with a deeper level of delight and cultural depth. Dance is a language that speaks to the spirit and unites communities, whether it be via the elegant motions of ancient dances like the Odhishi or the upbeat rhythms of Dhunuchi Naach during Durga Puja.

Recently, an Instagram influencer’s fusion dance, performed to commemorate the Bengali New Year, was a stunning example of the long-standing relationship between dance and celebrations. This influencer, also known as Dasom Her or Luna, gained notoriety recently for her Korean-Indian fusion dance performance. Global internet viewers have found the film to be amusing and have given it positive reviews.

Dasom’s rendition, which is set to the catchy melody of Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo, which was first performed by Farida Khanum, is very expressive and demonstrates her evident proficiency with both Indian classical music and dance styles.

She skillfully draped a handloom saree in the video, interpreting each song’s lyric with nuanced facial expressions and deft hand motions.

“This dance and song have taken my heart.” Shōbho Nobo Borsho, my light soldiers! I am so grateful that you are here with me, and I am thrilled to have you along for the ride. “I want to keep making content that makes you and me happy,” she said in the description.

She also asked for warmth and kindness to surround her fans this year. She said, “Sending my love to each and every one of you.”

She had already sent her fans greetings in Bengali on this momentous occasion.
