When Michael Vaughan asks about Yashasvi Jaiswal’s potential knockouts, Ashwin had the best response

Yashasvi Jaiswal, who made his Test debut last year, has been producing outstanding performances. In his maiden Test, he scored an incredible 171 runs. Speaking on Yashasvi Jaiswal’s potential performance going forward, former England captain Michael Vaughan was among many who said so in advance of the next Test series against Australia in November of this year.

Star India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin responded to Vaughan’s query during an interview on the “Club Prairie Fire” podcast with an outstanding answer. remarking that he finds it amusing that young athletes experience pressure before of their major tasks because of the “experts in India.”

“This is one story point that makes me laugh out loud. There are several specialists in India who speak highly of someone who has just gained notoriety. Well, but hold on till we see how they do in England, South Africa, and Australia. It makes me laugh so hard because you wouldn’t say anything like that until and until you wanted someone to fail. He remarked, “You kind of look forward to somebody failing because that’s what makes international cricket so great.”

Jaiswal may not do well in Australia, but Ashwin went on to say that it would be a fantastic learning opportunity anyway. “That is the main purpose of traveling. Ultimately, the mindset of a cricket player is to overcome all obstacles, and this is how one rises to the top,” he said.

Ashwin showered the young batter with adulation, referring to him as a “naturally gifted ball striker” and claiming that everything he touched had turned to gold. “Yashasvi is equipped for success. However, he will also go on a voyage to acquire vital knowledge. Even in the face of defeat, he will gain important life lessons. He said, “I believe he will be twice as good as he is today.
